Video #1 - 5'4" first attempt. Video starts between steps 7 & 8. Good Lean entering 8. Not the best vertical release here, but GREAT use of both arms for lift. Beautiful ARCH!!! Timing is nice in the air, too. I think you brush on the way up because of the angled release... (Don't know who the girl is?)

Video #2 - 5'6" first attempt. OK - we can see the approach here. Pacing is very good, but step placement is pretty sloppy. Looks like 6 cuts out to initiate Lean, so then 7 is back on the 1-5 line, then lots of Lean 7 to 8 with almost a spin-step on 8 to face the bar, then 8-9-10 are on a pretty straight line. You're completely out of your Lean by 9. If you were to release vertical on this 8-9-10 line you would land on the farther upright. So to compensate you release not vertical, but into the pit enough to get you over the crossbar. Again - AWESOME in the air. A+ on the Arch, AAA+++ on the great timing delay before you kick - your shoulders are noticeably below your hips before you break the arch! This tells me you ARE talking in the air - good job!

Video #3 - 5'8" first attempt. You can really see the poor approach shape here, with the flat 8-9-10 and already completely un-leaned by 9. Look at the plant foot toe - not facing the further upright, but turned way out away from the pit - another sign you are not on the circular part of the J. Spectacular use of both arms for lift - GREAT arch and timing delay!!! These are on the money for making 6 feet!

Video #4 - 5'8" second attempt. Now this one the 8-9-10 are not so flat - see they are on at least a little bit of a curve? As a result, you can see you are still leaning a bit entering 10, and as a result you can see you're able to release more vertically. Worst thing about this jump is the plant foot cranked WAY out away from the pit - OUCH! BIG arms and absolutely PERFECT in flight!!!!!!!!!!!

Video #5 - 5'10" first attempt. You can really see the too-early un-lean at the end of this approach. Add a little more speed for the higher height and this one falls into the bar a bit. Early strike on the way up with the bar falling off toward the pit.

Video #6 - 5'10" second attempt. This isn't too bad. You can see you still have some lean-away entering the plant on step 10! This one breaks the moment you start to fall, as opposed to holding that arch past the peak like all your other jumps. This lean & release with the arch & flight of jump #4 would have made the height for a new PR. We are VERY close!!!
