Video #1 - 4-10, 70% or less, complete control - NO chance of missing this jump. Plus 4 and perfect timing for the height. My only thing is the tucked-in elbow on your left arm...
Video #2 - 5-0, 70% or less again, nice flow. Plus 4 here, too! PERFECT break timing. Nice release & vertical extension to the top of the jump. Video #3 - 5-2 clean! (This is the jump I sent the link for earlier.) 70+% now but still complete control of the jump & timing. Almost identical looking to the previous jump. Great repeatability... Video #4 - 5-4 first attempt, Great POP and you had the height, just broke it a little too early. Video #5 - Second attempt, pacing let up a little bit so not enought height, plus the release is loose and not vertical, but rather into the pit a bit... Video #6 - 5-4 third attempt MAKE (SORRY I missed the clearance on the video). The approach looks 75% controlled & strong. From what I can see of the Release it could even be a little better. CONGRATULATIONS & welcome to the Bigs!!! Video #7 - 5-5.25 school record attempt #1. Step 7 on this approach is a "weakening" step and I can tell right there that the attempt is very doubtful. Release is good & vertical (to the upright, tip your head when watching it). The break is early like video #4 above, but this one actually still had a good chance ofbeing a make for a new school record. Video #8 - attempt #2. Step 7 is better, but there's still something going on there? Release is vertical but I can't see much of the flight due to my poor camera work... Video #9 - attempt #3. From what I can see it is break-timing for the higher height - need to add another WORD to what you're saying in your head to control the timing. Also need to think about the "Falling Reflex" again and do some drills & work to really conquer it to move higher... |
