Video #1 - 3'8" (too LOW for you now!) - Some pretty good Lean in 6-7-8, but mostly gone and running upright by 9-10. Check your "release" by looking at the last frames with your plant foot still ON the ground and the first frame where it's OFF the ground. You can see that as soon as you leave the ground your shoulders go sideways toward the landing pit - not UP driving for height like we want. Again, the height is too low so you can have this flaw and still clear the bar! You should be starting at PR minus 6" = 3'10" for you now...

Video #2 - 3'10" first attempt - I'm seeing a little approach flaw here. Your step 7 does not come across onto the J, so 8 is a pivot-step and 9 is a longer side-step. From there you're just trying to recover to get up at the bar. We need to work on discipline of the 7th step and staying SQUARE to the J! These corrections will help your approach flow better and allow better pacing into the bar.

Video #3 - 3'10" second attempt - Again the approach flaw causes you to be completely un-leaned already before step 10 even hits the ground. You fall right through the plant and into the crossbar - never having the chance to RISE and clear the height. This is far from the GREAT release and vertical jump at 4'4" in practice on Tuesday...

Video #4 - 3'10" third attempt - WHEW! This jump has a better release to vertical. I can see 2 video frames after your toe leaves the ground where your shoulders travel UP! In the other videos at 3'10" there were NO frames where you rise like this.

Video #5 - 4'0" first attempt - Your pacing is noticeably more aggresive on this jump! I see 4 video frames where you are rising up above the bar - an easy clearance. Your inside (right) arm, away from the bar, is pretty wild out there through steps 7-8-9. Can you see that? We will clean that up and work on ARMS in general...

Video #6 - 4'2" first attempt - Again the VERY loose inside arm thoughout your turn - where did that come from? Only 2 frames of upward rise after leaving the ground is not enough to make the height.

Video #7 - 4'2" second atttempt - The pacing is OK here, and I LOVE the very high landing and rollover! You keep enough residual Lean entering step 10 to release the jump vertical enough to clear the height - 3 video frames showing upward rise. Nice knee-through and a perpendicular pass over the crossbar - a SUPER jump!

Video #8 - 4'4" first attempt - I like the pacing of this jump a LOT. At your higher heights like this centering of the jump over the crossbar becomes very critical. You can see in the video that the apex (peak) of the jump is well behind the crossbar (to the right of the nearer upright in the video). You strike the bar on the way up before you reach the top of your jump. If this jump were centered it would have been a MAKE! We want to pull your mark back a little more as the bar moves up, I think... REALLY good arch at the top of this jump, too!

Video #9 - 4'4" second attempt - This jump is a lot like the previous one, except your head tips forward - chin on chest - before you reach the top of the jump. So while the peak is not behind the bar here, you never get the ARCH rquired to clear the height :-(

Video #10 - 4'4" third attempt - TENTH jump of the competition; looking a little tired on this one. Your pacing dies coming into the bar and the jump has no "pop" and no real chance for clearance. We want to have discipline and force the pacing to be what we KNOW it should be - especially when we're getting tired at the end of a meet :-) GOOD JOB TODAY!!!
