Video #1 - Step right on the edge of the surface is #4. Step 7 is not across onto the turn, but straight in line with steps 1 through 6. Then steps 8-9-10 are in a pretty much straight line toward the bar. This is an "L" shaped approach, so no cuircular turn and no Lean! Look at the last frame with your plant foot still on the ground - is this a vertical release? Yikes! From there your shoulders only go up for one frame of video. You're also crossing diagonal, which we can work on to improve things... I DO like the fearless, high (on your shoulders), pile-driver landing - this will help you in the long run!
Video #2 - A better, more circular approach turn, but still the same poor, non-vertical finish - always look at the last frame with your plant foot still on the ground. We need you to take off closer to the bar so you will finish more vertical. Video #3 - Can actually see some LEAN on this one, at step 8 and entering 9, but you're un-leaned and vertical again entering step 10. Although my video work is bad on this one, you can still see the "leading" arm into the crossbar and non-vertical finish as you leave the ground. |
